Client: International School in Chiang Mai

Context: Educators, students, and parents new to the Middle Years Programme (MYP) often lack familiarity with its framework and principles. This course aims to introduce the MYP structure, its educational philosophy, and key components to help educators implement it effectively in their classrooms, while also providing students and parents with an understanding of how the MYP shapes learning and development.

Challenges: The course combines direct instruction, interactive modules, and practical examples to explain the MYP’s approach. Learners will explore key concepts, such as the Areas of Interaction, and engage in activities that encourage them to apply MYP principles to their teaching, learning, and home support strategies.

Results: The course was released in 2024, with follow-up surveys conducted to assess participants’ understanding of the MYP, their confidence in implementing its practices, and feedback on the course’s effectiveness for future improvements.
