Case Study

Context: Employees, particularly those from marginalized backgrounds, often lack awareness of self-efficacy and its importance in the workplace. This course aims to help them understand and increase their self-efficacy for improved performance and well-being.

Challenges: The target audience has limited knowledge of self-efficacy and its workplace applications, and some may face barriers to engaging with learning opportunities.

Solutions: The course uses a mix of direct instruction, scenario-based learning, and self-directed activities to teach self-efficacy. Practical exercises and real-world scenarios allow learners to apply these concepts in their jobs and build confidence.

Results: The course will be delivered in early 2025, with a post-course survey to assess its impact on employees' self-efficacy, performance, and well-being, and to gather feedback for improvement.
